# Underpine

*The world where* [*Valeria*](/portal-fantasy-docs/locations/city-of-valeria.md) *is located, Underpine is known for its lush, green landscapes and mild weather fluctuations. Its fertile lands make it an ideal place to settle, offering a rich and wonderful environment for its inhabitants. Since the War of the Priestesses, the Aldrich family has reigned over Underpine, enabling the High Priestess to govern on a more trans-world stage. Despite their support, the Aldrich family is far from discreet about their privileged position.*
