However, your unexpected situation places you on a fast track to earning your first and subsequent Sigil Ranks, thrusting you into danger you haven't had time to prepare for.*

**Sigil Ranks** are crucial for determining the progression and power of both you and your Porbles. These ranks limit the maximum level a [Porble](/portal-fantasy-docs/gameplay/porbles.md) under your command can achieve and dictate the potency of your traits. If a Porble reaches the maximum level allowed by your current Sigil Rank, it will not gain any more experience until you raise your rank.&#x20;
