# Desert of the Lost

*A truly beautiful but hostile place, the Desert of the Lost is characterized by scorching heat that creates an almost timeless stillness, just before the lightning-fast sting of its renowned venomous animals brings everything to a sudden halt. The ruling family, the Dagda clan, maintains a loose reign over the nomads and settlements scattered across this desolate realm. Remarkably, they manage to keep the region as lawful and safe as possible in an otherwise perilous environment.*
